During a recent flight from Shanghai to San Francisco, I realized that I had over a 6 hour layover in San Francisco, with additional flights to Denver and onto Rapid City, SD. It was truly going to be a long day. I decided to stop by the United counter, after clearing customs, picking up my bags and dropping them off at the domestic baggage area. I wanted to check if there was an earlier flight/s that would get me home, to my family sooner. Mario Torres was very nice and extremely helpful. Not only was he able to get me on an earlier flight, but he connected with me throughtout the entire process to ensure that I made each flight and that my baggage was there. Unfortunately, on my last flight, the baggage didn't make it in time, but only because that particular flight left 20 minutes early. How often does that happen! :) I just want to say thank you to Mario and I can only hope that if anyone finds themselves in a similar situation during their travels, that they are fortunate enough to receive the quality of service that I received from Mr. Mario Torres. Outstanding and Thank You!
